Decorative Painting is a diverse art form. There are as many techniques as there are teachers and every imaginable medium is used. Decorative Painting is used to decorate functional and non-functional surfaces. It is "method painting" or "step-by-step" painting and therefore it is a very teachable art form. Decorative Painting certainly offers those who get involved many opportunities for self-expression and creative satisfaction. Give it a try --- you're sure to enjoy it.

Carole Robbins, CDA, has 24+ years of decorative painting and teaching experience. She teaches oil landscapes, animals, still life and trompe l'oeil designs as well as acrylic and watercolor painting.

Carole owns and operates a tole and decorative painting shop called Robbins' Nest in Troy, OH, where she teaches and holds seminars. She has also taught classes for chapters and painting conventions including the National Decorative Painting Convention and Art Expo in Toronto. Carole holds a teaching degree from Bowling Green State University.

This web site is changing constantly to include new designs, seminars, and classes, so please visit often.
